ISPD is pleased to offer a free service to any Catholic parish, school or diocese nation-wide. To post job announcements and opportunities, please make your request to Frank Donaldson, ISPD President by email at ISPD@aol.com. Each announcement should be no more than 200 words and should invite people to submit a resume to your specific address (e-mail or physical).  In e-mailing your request (with the announcement attached in a Microsoft Word document), please indicate the name of the contact person and a telephone number where we can reach you, just in case we need clarification on the announcement. Announcements will be put in alphabetical order by institution.
 
Twice per month in our two e-newsletters, we will highlight your opportunity and invite all readers to visit this page in order to view the announcements. These e-mail newsletters reach over 11,000 Catholic leaders each month.


Director of Stewardship and Development Opportunity in Littleton, CO

St. Mary Parish, one of the larger parishes in Colorado, is seeking to fill the new position of Director of Development & Stewardship. This person will be asked to take a leadership role at the parish and school by the management and implementing of all Development and Stewardship activities, being able to plan, execute and establish sustainable processes with limited staff and resources.

Qualifications:
  • College graduate, preferably in communications/community relations or related field
  • Proven track record in development and fund-raising
  • Knowledge of funding resources and processes for developing grant proposals, including skill in networking
  • Computer literate, skilled in donor databases, and internet capable; knowledge of volunteer management
  • Excellent communication, and written and verbal persuasion skills
  • People-person with the ability to work with a variety of constituencies
  • Hands-on approach and a creative self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with parish work and life
  • Active and volunteering member of a Catholic parish with an understanding of the stewardship teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.

PRINCIPAL POSITION in Quincy, IL

Quincy Notre Dame High School located in Quincy, Illinois, is seeking a principal beginning the 2012-2013 school year. QND has approximately 400 students in grades 9-12. Candidates must be a practicing Catholic and have an Administrative Certification of Secondary Schools. Candidates must have the ability to empower the staff and students to their fullest potential; be comfortable to reach out to the community and welcome their support and enthusiasm for new growth; be involved in all aspects of the school community; mentor students and their families; work efficiently with the governing school board; have expertise in fundraising, budgets and long range planning; and be results oriented. Salary will commensurate with experience.
