Meet Our Consultants Frank Donaldson One of the first in the country to realize that development was the future for our Catholic institutions, Frank has been preaching the gospel of meaningful involvement and engagement for more than 23 years. Along the way, Frank has had the vision to establish sound processes for long-range planning, strategic planning for development, development office set-up, annual fund organization and capital campaign management. There isn't a development question that has been asked that Frank Donaldson hasn't answered. In more than two decades of working with hundreds of Catholic schools, parishes and dioceses, Frank has encountered just about every challenge an institution can face and he has turned them into opportunities that have allowed his clients to grow and flourish. Opportunities that have translated into hundreds of long-range plans in place, the establishment of numerous development offices, hundreds of trained development directors and millions of dollars raised for Catholic institutions. Beginning as a teacher, an administrator and then a development director, 21 years ago, Frank left the classroom behind to found ISPD. Since then the firm has grown and prospered under his care and with the philosophy that development is a ministry centered in the meaningful involvement of people in an institution's mission and vision. An accomplished musician, songwriter and cook, Frank is also a wonderful story teller and writer. He is the author of Unifying the Image, available through Catholic School Publications of NCEA. His collections of short stories about his experiences growing up in south Louisiana are a favorite gift for family and friends. Frank attends Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Slidell, Louisiana, with his wife, Suzy, and youngest daughter, Megan.

Tom Bagwill One of the South’s best storytellers is now helping “create” new success stories at ISPD! Tom and ISPD came together years ago when he attended one of the company’s Development Schools here in New Orleans. Immediately, the “fit” was an excellent one. Tom strongly believes in the mission and philosophy of this company. Development is the meaningful involvement of people in your mission and vision for the future. He brings a strong team spirit to every client with whom he works, and he sees his role as a positive “conductor” who brings people together, energizes them, and empowers them to move forward. With strong attention to detail, Tom works with parishes and schools in helping them plan their future and also showing them the many ways that Total Stewardship can be successful. Tom is a member of Jesuit High School's President's Advisory Council, the General Chairman of Jesuit's Parents Annual Giving Drive in New Orleans, and helped establish the School Board at St. Pius X School in New Orleans. Before joining ISPD, Tom served as a news director, anchor, and reporter at various television stations throughout the South. During his career, he was honored with two Regional Emmy Awards and a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
