“Catholic Development $$$: The Annual Fund & Capital Campaign”
One Day Workshop for Catholic Schools & Parishes
This workshop will clearly show the value of establishing a vibrant Annual Fund and how important it is to have excellent annual giving in place before moving on to a capital campaign. The first half of the workshop will concentrate on the Annual Fund: how to organize it, how to position it, how to establish excellent case points, how to engage the leadership for it, how to create the literature, how to invite the gifts, and how to improve from year to year. The second half of the workshop will cover getting ready for a capital campaign: how to organize, how to implement, and how important this Development $$$ effort is to the future of your Catholic institution. Using over 50 successful capital campaigns from around the country, ISPD will present what is working well and what differences we have seen in capital campaign work over the past 20 years. This workshop will conclude with a chart showing what distinguishes a successful capital campaign from one that does not meet its goals.
